Meet Our Attorney & Staff

A. Susan Biggers was born in Shelby, N.C. She graduated from Wake Forest University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1988) and the University of North Carolina (J.D., with honors, 1991). Ms. Biggers was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1991, North Carolina. She was a member of the North Carolina Journal of International Law in 1990-1991 and the recipient of an American Legal Jurisprudence Award in Legal Research and Writing and Professional Responsibility. Ms. Biggers is a member of the Cleveland County and North Carolina Bar Associations and the North Carolina State Bar.

Laura "Missy" S. Lawrence joined the law firm in 2018. Prior to joining the law firm, Missy was employed at Alliance Bank & Trust as the head teller.

Ashley obtained an Associate in Arts degree and an Associate in Accounting degree from Cleveland Community College. She had previously been employed with the Cleveland County School System.
